Remake or Remaster?
Finally, its time to re release a game that i made not so long ago. You can play the game here

Endless Night TD is a FPS Tower defense game. A game that i tried to use some of the templates and assets that i bought and got off unity marketplace. My skills back then was, not that great but it serve its purpose with me learning on the fly.
And recently this year i have created a FPS template to refresh, relearn and update myself with unity input system. with that i decided to revisit Endless Night TD, and oh boy the project was quite outdated. It was build under unity 5/2019 LTS.
So with that the decision was easy to rebuild the game. Some notable changes if you compare to the one on kongregate.
here are the "Updated/Remake" features:
- FPS controls for both "Player" and "Tower" using the new Input system, manage to recycle some useful scripts from the old project.
- Fully rebuild the defense "Towers" with my knowledge gain from one of my Unreal Project. I Believe that is "Simple RPG 1.5" sadly not available to play nor download ( game size too big, blame UE5 XD ).
- Rebuild the Player Switching to Tower method. Now its much more "interactive" feature gave me quite the headache, but not as much as this.
- An "In Game" style upgrade screen. This one had some game breaking bug. Sadly i did not solve it properly instead i use a hot fix for it.
- Port over the Ai system from one of my template, which i made to tackle this project. and a rebuild Waypoint system. Much easier? to manage and implement.
- A minor game change, added an "Ending"
and that's it! those are the list of things im "improving" from the previous build.
p.s. Technically this can be categorized as a remake since there are some major changes to game mechanic, but not core gameplay.
