Big Changes is V0.4 Build
sooo lets start off with what has changed
First major story backend overhaul, and more revision to come as i will be writing some story content for voyager, maybe a little help from chat GPT( hah!) ? This Overhaul is important as it will pave the way for scalable story expansion as the previous one was tougher for expansion and also code wise it not "clean and efficient" sadly that requires a total overhaul of the game itself.
Second is i have added 2 new mini game, the first is the "Mining/Resource Gathering" some activity vs the 1 click button on 0.3 build, next is the reactor upgrade, in which will improve the ships condition but its not in this build. The reason?
After some play testing , as much as all the game mechanics is following the 0.3 build but it was lacking something unique. previously it was made to be a simple text base game, so its time to improve a little more and focus the type of game that it could be. Since I have separate the "combat" section and build https://irgamer.itch.io/battle-bridge. Yes Battle Bridge was build only on focusing the combat part, with this I believe that Voyager should be more of a Text Based adventure with some combat and survival, with some rouge like element ( to be more precise, those good ol adventure book , and multiple endings).
with this "New Direction", This build is critical as it solve and pave the way for Story, the next part would be the "exploration", some dynamic exploration back end needs to be rebuild and possibly a completely new build for that matter.
