Small little changes for a better future
Back with another update!
This time a big story clean up especially on the back end codes scripts and logic.
The previous update pave a way to expend story content in the future, it was good and this round it was used to expend to chapter 2 and a repeatable mission, which previous story was just a placeholder. Now with some of the building block in place, various "Mission" can be added without a major overhaul to the code.
for the "Mission" type i wanted to add unique Mission sequence. With the current one being the basic go to a location and boss fight ( basically a repeatable boss fight ), the next one would be a "Fetch quest" go to a location and find an item and or a Mining mission, a classic non combat sci fi activity.
But more importantly, there will be 1 very crucial story update in the future, Choices with multiple "endings" this will be the final Story feature for voyager as a development. what is a text based adventure without story choices?
Next is some smaller update,
- Added an Instruction to operate the ship utility, much needed instruction from feedback ( that's right your feedback matters )
- Added a "Docking service" for outpost/station, This will be the only way to refit/repair/refuel
