WebGL v14 Build Feature - Colorful Space
Another Milestone Build and update!
This time i have added better model assets, UI and Sounds! Finally i can dust off some of the assets i bought quite a while ago, and they are finally being used.
As Battle Bridge enters the polishing stage and its feature complete, just did a quick play through and i dont think i want to add anything new to prevent feature creep. Battle Bridge has all the core gameplay that i wanted to test out. you can read on my previous devlog here. I will save some of the more advance and complex iteration and idea for another project.
The Asset used are :
- 3d Models from Synty, POLYGON - Sci-Fi Space Pack
- UI assets from Layer Lab, GUI Pro - Survival Clean pack
- Music from Muz Station Productions, Total Music Collection
Just because im using "premade assets" does not meant i will not have custom or my own assets. i will try to model some smaller ones and add them in and of course there are some custom audio that i made as well.
This build currently have some minor UI changes as a lot of cleanup and fixes on the coding side to how the UI should be displayed. its Not over yet and the last leg of game dev is polishing the details and its hard to see the difference from build to build.
I have also started the First pass for FX for battle bridge. setting up the placeholders for the effects and explosion, but currently a little stuck on how can i make a nice "Hyperjump" effect. The main inspiration is from Homeworld , jumplight odyssey, and from an upcoming game Falling Frontier. we have always seen "First person view" but how does it looks like to see from a ship entering hyperjump.
At least now the light at end of the tunnel is reachable. Battle Bridge is still on scheduled for release at the end of 2024
